Privacy Policy

1. The short version
Shotpick collects nothing. The app has no network access — the permission is not requested at all, so your photos, their thumbnails and the data used to compare them cannot leave your iPhone. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising.
2. Access to your photos
Shotpick asks for access to your photo library because it cannot organise what it cannot see. The access is used for exactly three things: reading your photos to compare them, showing them to you, and removing the ones you confirm.
You can grant limited access instead of full access. The app will then only ever see the photos you picked.
3. Everything is analysed on your device
Grouping, quality scoring and every other decision run on your iPhone, using frameworks Apple ships with iOS. No image, no thumbnail and no derived data is sent anywhere for processing.
4. What stays on your device
- Scan results. Which photos were grouped together, their sizes, and a small numeric signature used to notice when a photo has changed.
- Your settings. Scan strictness and the rules you chose.
- The basket. Photos you selected but have not yet confirmed for removal.
All of this lives in the app's own storage on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app. None of it is uploaded anywhere, because the app has no way to upload anything.
5. iCloud Photos
If you use iCloud Photos, some of your photos may not be stored on the device at full size. When you open one of them full screen, iOS fetches it from your own iCloud account through Apple's Photos framework. That connection is between your iPhone and Apple — Shotpick neither sees nor controls it, and nothing about your photos is sent to us or to anyone else.
The same applies to deletion: if iCloud Photos is on, removing a photo removes it from every device signed in to your account. The app warns you about this on first launch.
6. What we never collect
No identifiers, no device information, no usage statistics, no crash reports, no location, no contacts, no advertising ID. We cannot see which photos you have, which ones you keep, or how often you use the app.
7. Third parties
The only third party involved is Apple, which processes your App Store purchase. We never see your payment details. No analytics, advertising or tracking SDK is included in the app.
8. Deleting your data
Delete the app from your device. Everything Shotpick remembered goes with it. Your photos themselves are untouched by this — they belong to the Photos app, not to us.
9. Children
Shotpick is a utility and requires no personal information to function. It collects no data from users of any age.
